Egg pepper masala



This is a simple dish with egg. This goes well with bread/boiled rice/chapattis.



Ingredients
·         Onion(Finely chopped)-1 medium sized
·         Garlic paste-1/4 tsp
·         Ginger paste- 1/4 tsp
·         Turmeric powder – 1/4tsp
·         Coriander powder- 1/4 tsp
·         Chicken masala powder -1 tsp
·         Black pepper(crushed)- 1/2 tsp
·         Tomato(finely chopped)- 1 large
·         Greenchilli – 1, split lengthwise
·         Curry leaves- 1 sprig
·         Egg- 2
·         Salt-to taste
·         Cooking oil(preferably coconut oil)-1 tbsp
Preparation:
  1. Boil the eggs for few minutes. Break and remove the shell carefully.
  2. Heat oil in a pan and add chopped onion, green chilli and curry leaves. Saute it well till it turns light brown color.
  3.  After stirring for few mins add the ginger and garlic paste. Stir until the raw smell goes.
  4. Add turmeric powder, coriander powder, pepper powder and the chicken masala powder to it. Stir it for 5 mins.
  5. Add finely chopped tomato and saute it for another 5 mins. Mash the tomatoes well
  6. Add  salt and little water and mix well. Let it boil.
  7. Add boiled eggs sliced into halves into the gravy and let it to blend well with the masala.
  8. Cook it for 2 more mins and remove from flame and serve hot.
Note:
You may garnish with chopped coriander leaves.
