Loobikka chammanthi

Loobikka is one of my favourite. Try this simple and spicy loobikka chammanthi.



Ingredients:

·         Pickled loobikka (refer notes ) – 10
 ·       Shallots-5      
·         Kaanthaari mulaku (bird’s eye chilly)-5
·         Coconut  oil-2 tbsp
·         Salt to taste

Preparation:
  1. Crush together loobikka, kaanthaari mulak and shallots along with salt.
  2. Make sure that they are just crushed and not make it a paste.
  3. Add coconut oil and mix well.
Note:
  1.  For pickling loobikka wash and drain them. In jar put the loobikkas and pour boiled and cooled water. Add enough salt. Keep it for few days. 
  2.   You may add green chilli or chilli powder instead of kaanthaari mulak.
