Easy Mango pudding without gelatin and cream
Mango pudding is a very popular dessert.Sweet and juicy mangoes gives best pudding. This mango pudding is simple and easy to make as it does not use gelatin/agar agar/china grass and cream. Hope you all will try this one and let me the feedback.
Ingredients:
- Ripe mangoes - 2 medium sized
- Egg - 1
- Sugar - 1/4 cup
- Milk - 1/2 cup
- Condensed milk - 1/4 cup
- Corn flour - 1 tbsp
- Raisins - 1 tbsp for garnishing (optional)
- Cashews - 1 tbsp chopped for garnishing (optional)
Preparation:
- Peel and cut the mangoes into small pieces.
- Take a mixer grinder and blend together cut mangoes, 1 egg, 1/4 cup sugar and 1/4 cup milk.
- Pour this into a bowl and close it with an aluminium foil.
- Keep it in a steamer. Close with a lid and steam for about 15 to 20 mins or till its cooked well. A skewer or toothpick inserted to it will come out clean.
- Take it out from the steamer and let it cool down.
- Take a glass. Add 1/4 cup of milk and 1 tbsp corn flour to it. Mix well.
- Take a pan and add 1/4 cup condensed milk with corn flour milk mixture.
- Combine well and let it boil. Stir continuously.
- Switch off the flame when the mixture starts thickening.
- Pour this mixture over the steamed mango pudding and garnish with raisins or cashews.
- Let it cool down. Enjoy.
Notes:
- You can keep it in refrigerator to get a firm pudding.
